Spotted Lanternfly attracted to vibration

How cool is this? The Spotted Lantern Fly is apparently attracted to 60 Hz vibration. This was discovered when researchers found them attracted to power lines and subsequently tested that theory in the lab. Successful development of a pest management program based on vibration can reduce the use of pesticides. Check out the full article here:
